To celebrate,worship, and learn about the traditional strategies Christians and Muslims
have used to interpret their sacred texts in a changing world.
Christians and Muslims traditionally and historically recognize Scripture as central to their faith. Both also recognize the importance and complexity of applying Scripture to a contemporary context. Dr. Mahmoud Ayoub, Dr. Rod Hutton, and select panelists will address the texts that pose a particular challenge.

The Rev. Drs. Mark Alan Powell and Henry J. Langknecht will be teaching and leading this January Term Course and Travel opportunity to the Holy Land featuring Caesarea, Megiddo, Nazareth, the Sea of Galilee, Mt. of Beatitudes, Capernum, Bet She'an, Jericho, Qumran, Masada, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Mt. Zion, and the Mt. of Olives.
