Hunger is a travesty in our world of abundance, and we are called as people of God to do all we can to end hunger in our lifetime!  Join us on November 5, 2010 to learn about the issues of hunger, strengthen our voices to speak with our local/national leaders urging them to be an active part of ending hunger, learn and share ideas about creative hunger ministries, and have the opportunity to put all this into action on November 6 in local hunger service events and conversations with political leaders.
David Creech, Director for Hunger Education at ELCA World Hunger and the Rev. Andrew Genzler, Director of ELCA's Washington Office will be the keynotes of the conference.  Other speakers include a representative from a local LSS hunger ministry, and the president, along with a few local folks, from Foods Resource Bank.
