New Bookstore Opens at Trinity
A new independent bookstore has opened on the ground floor of Trinity Lutheran Seminary under the ownership and management of Trinity alum Paul Ritter, former manager of the Augsburg Fortress Bookstore.
Steeple People Bookstore opened May 1 in the space where the Augsburg Fortress store was located. Due to restructuring, Augsburg closed its doors at Trinity this spring after 16 years on campus. Steeple People will continue to carry many of the same products offered at Augsburg, including text books, curriculum, ecclesiastical arts, gifts, and church supplies, said Ritter, who earned his M.T.S. from Trinity in 1996. The bookstore will be open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. The store will be closed Sundays and Saturdays from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
